12 Funniest Impressions Of Wrestling Legends

Watch the stars do each other. No, not like that.

Over the years, WWE’s terrible approach to the onscreen comedy segment has given us a couple of laughs, but far too many cringeworthy moments. That’s what happens when you ask wrestlers to be spontaneously funny when they’re better known for laying the smack down than the skit down. Even more so when they are being fed lines by a writing team without the first clue about comedy.

In particular, the company has arranged for some godawful parodies over the years: from ‘the Nacho Man’, ‘the Huckster’ and ‘Billionaire Ted’ during the Monday Night War, to DX’s ridiculous Bo Selecta versions of WWE superstars back in the day, to poor Damien Sandow being asked to turn up at the drop of a hat and perform live impressions of Randy Savage and Vince McMahon in the middle of the ring (although he had the McMahon strutting power walk down pat).

But that doesn’t mean that every star’s repertoire of impersonations is limited to cheesy hairpieces, bad prosthetics, and stick-on People’s Eyebrows. No, there are some quality impressionists in the wrestling industry - and here’s ten examples some of the most spot-on impressions of wrestling legends I’ve ever seen.

12. Roman Reigns: Standard Bearer

Honourable mention has to go to current WWE World Heavyweight couch-sitter Roman Reigns, for his surprisingly high-pitched and on-point Paul Bearer impression.
