11. The Rock Brings It
These days, everyone knows that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the most electrifying men in all of entertainment - but back in the days of the Attitude Era, he was just The Rock, the People’s Champion, and the best promo on the roster.
That’s why his impersonation of Triple H on the 1 February 2000 RAW in Atlanta came as such a surprise. It’s not perfect, no - he’d need to hunch his shoulders more and perhaps wear a fake nose - but for a man more used to delivering catchphrases than impressions of other people, it wasn’t half bad.
He’d go one better a few months later, however. Leading up to the groundbreaking six-man Hell In A Cell match at Armageddon in December 2000, The Rock mocked all five of his opponents - in order, Kurt Angle, Rikishi, the Undertaker, Triple H, and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
