These days, everyone knows that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the most electrifying men in all of entertainment - but back in the days of the Attitude Era, he was just The Rock, the People’s Champion, and the best promo on the roster.

That’s why his impersonation of Triple H on the 1 February 2000 RAW in Atlanta came as such a surprise. It’s not perfect, no - he’d need to hunch his shoulders more and perhaps wear a fake nose - but for a man more used to delivering catchphrases than impressions of other people, it wasn’t half bad.

He’d go one better a few months later, however. Leading up to the groundbreaking six-man Hell In A Cell match at Armageddon in December 2000, The Rock mocked all five of his opponents - in order, Kurt Angle, Rikishi, the Undertaker, Triple H, and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. While the first three were lame but funny, and the fourth we’d already seen, his impression of the Texas Rattlesnake was great - even down to the arrogant head wobble...
