With Brock Lesnar’s impending return to the ultimate fighting world creeping ever-closer on the horizon, both wrestling and MMA fans the world over have begun salivating at the prospect of “The Beast” once again wreaking havoc in Octagon.

Undoubtedly one of the toughest pro wrestlers in history, Lesnar’s return to the fight game once again highlights the crossover potential between wrestling and cage fighting and immediately brings with it the age old question: which pro wrestlers can genuinely back up the smack talk when push comes to shove and fists really begin to fly?

Names like Kurt Angle, Ken Shamrock, Meng and Harley Race are commonplace in tough guy scenarios such as this, yet one man whose name is often criminally left out of the equation is perhaps more similar to Lesnar than any athlete in the history of wrestling. Enter one of the most intense and feared men to ever lace a pair of boots. Enter Scott Steiner.

For newer fans unfamiliar with “Big Poppa Pump”, Scott Steiner can best be described as the Brock Lesnar of the 1990s. For those who are familiar, no introduction is needed.

Long before Lesnar had evolved into “The Beast” he would become, “Freakzilla” was wowing crowds with his own displays of animalistic strength, surprising agility and awesome aerial offense; not to mention decimating his opponents with an array of suplex variations. Add to that a mean streak as wide as his fuse is short and you have yourself one badass individual. Simply put, you have yourself wrestling’s original “Beast Incarnate”, Scott Steiner.

But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself as we put “Big Poppa Pump” under the microscope and examine the mythical bad-assery of the man they call “The Genetic Freak”.
