Hot off the heels of last week's implication that Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling would be colliding with the best that TNA has to offer soon enough, it all began kicking off this week, though it's hopefully merely a sign of bigger and better things to come down the line. This week's show saw a number of talents both returning to the Impact Zone and visiting for the first time, resulting in a number of diverse and entertaining matches, even if the most intriguing aspect of the show, as usual, was Josh Matthews' terrible commentary attempt, the crazy fans that gravitate to TNA shows, and of course, EC3's hilariously cheeky shenanigans. As for what the future holds for TNA? Given their rather dire situation at the moment with Destination America, a bold shake-up is very much needed, and GFW just might be bringing what the doctor ordered.
27. GFW vs. TNA Is Actually Happening
After Jeff Jarrett was appointed as the interim General Manager for this week's Impact following Bully Ray's mysterious assault last week, it was fair to expect the show would be something special, but did anyone expect a TNA vs GFW show quite this soon? Most fans surely expected Jarrett to save something like this for a pay-per-view-scale show, and though this week's Impact only gave a small taste of the possible match-ups to come, it was certainly a welcome change of pace nevertheless. Expect to see much more of Jarrett's gang soon enough.
