3 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 15)

Quality championship matches, excellent storytelling, and more as Impact becomes Uncaged.

The bigger episodes of Impact are typically the ones that you can count on to absolutely knock it out of the park. While Uncaged did that to a certain extent, it didn't feel as big as it should. Perhaps last week's tag title change should've been left for this episode. Nevertheless, an enjoyable episode was had.

Johnny Impact, Brian Cage, Killer Kross, and Moose had a fairly decent World Title match, aside from a slightly botched conclusion. The story told throughout alongside the great action was more than enough to cover the glitch, as you would expect from the top four within Impact's roster. It does however raise the question of who will be the one to end Impact's reign. If he's beaten all three of these guys at once, who's left?

A Street Fight for the Knockouts Championship was contested between Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie and boy, did they put on a phenomenal showing. This column has been critical at times of the rivalry continuing as Homecoming could've been a fine place to end it, but that means we wouldn't have gotten the match we got this week. A real travesty if that were the case in hindsight.

With all the good things that happened, it was a bit of a letdown to see some of the other happenings that went down relating to Ethan Page and Eli Drake. Let's get to it...
