3 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 15)

Downs...

2. All Filler

Since joining Impact late last year, Ethan Page has had a bit of an up and down journey. Some weeks he's doing noteworthy things, and then the next week he's not. His team with Matt Sydal, as silly as it was at times with the whole third eye schtick, at least got him in a meaningful role for a while. Now, he's mainly used to put other stars over.

His loss to Willie Mack this week did nothing for either man. Willie is already an established roster member by now, having challenged for the X Division Championship and been in rivalries with the likes of Sami Callihan. Despite joining the company at roughly the same time as Page, Mack has been utilised to his full potential. He'll likely be a champion in no time, while Page will be at the bottom of the barrel.

As much as Ethan being in Impact is great to see, it doesn't have much meaning if the company aren't wanting to do anything with him. Let's hope this period of his career is just temporary, and he bounces back from these losses to be a top player in the X Division.
