This week's episode of Rampage had way more story than AEW usually serves up on the 'C' show. Incredibly, a lot of it was important stuff typically reserved for Dynamite or Collision too, and that's a major win for hardcores who remain loyal to the Friday night weekly.

It's worth saying there's a difference between important and good. That's not to say everything sucked, because it definitely didn't, but All Elite must be careful before they turn Don Callis' Family into the next overstuffed stable that spreads the spotlight too thin.

On the plus side, Rampage featured two must-see matches (including a stiff, intense brawl between old tag partners), and gave undervalued workers like Kip Sabian and Abadon some shine. Sadly, one of AEW's biggest flaws brought the latter around full circle back to the negatives. Tony Khan really needs to stop this booking trope!

So, to recap, the show had way more value than it normally does. It's even worth seeking out if you usually just skip and read results. Honestly, the opener and main event were 100% fire and proof that hard work trumps all.

Here's all the good and bad!
