It's gonna be interesting to see what's next for Rampage once AEW introduces that Saturday show a few months from now. Will the former 'B' show be relegated to 'C' status? There's an argument to suggest it doesn't deserve to be called Dynamite's weekly accompaniment as it is.
The mixed bag nature of this week's episode echoed that sentiment.
Need a quick rundown? Tony Khan booked some Dynamite-boosting promos that worked well within Rampage's format, but some of the lower-tier stories he's pushing on Fridays can just sod off. Honestly, this "Firm Deletion" business is chronic and it hasn't even happened yet - the latest piece of hype included some of the worst acting you'll see in pro wrestling.
Jay White wrestled a tag match, Keith Lee's All Elite career is going nowhere, The Acclaimed sorely need some sort of direction, Anna Jay vs. Julia Hart is a fledgling female feud with promise, and it was really nice to see FTR man Cash Wheeler work as a singles star in the main event opposite Jay Lethal.
