The 2016 edition of the Royal Rumble is in the books and many fans left Orlando's Amway Center in a better mood than the fans that left Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center after last year's show, or the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh in 2014. Triple H made history by not only winning the Royal Rumble for the second time, but by becoming a 14-time world champion, sitting just two reigns behind his idol Ric Flair. There were many other reasons for fans to leave the event excited and feeling satisfied, but that doesn't mean the show was without its flaws. Generally speaking, the 2016 Royal Rumble was a good start to the new calendar year and has laid the foundation for WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas.
