This week's episode of Rampage was an AEW-sized middle finger to anybody who skipped the rearranged 'C' show after checking out two positively packed hours of 'A' show Dynamite on Wednesday night. Tony Khan ran both programs like one big special. Sure, they were oddly formatted because of that, but the quality was high.

It was really high.

Rampage won out more than usual too. All Elite fans were treated to stellar promos, fun matches aplenty, and one of the wildest main events in the broadcast's near-three year run to date. In a sweet twist, Khan also let his women's division take centre stage to deliver payoff for a slow-burning story that rewarded those paying full attention to the full complement of shows AEW runs weekly.

In short, this was one of the most must-see editions of Rampage yet. The opener sparkled, the main event was a ride, and everything else sandwiched in between offered both purpose and value. The only 'Downs' are lowkey ones - one was a missed opportunity generally, and the other a regular annoyance any AEW viewer knows too well.

Here's all the good and bad!
