6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 31)

RETRIBUTION chaos, Keith Lee victory, and Team Hell No 2.0 - not in a good way.

Coming out of a disappointing PPV, Raw had the opportunity to turn the corner and start building new feuds and moving in some new directions.

But most of the rivalries we’ve seen during the past couple months look like they will continue with no end in sight, as the Street Profits tangled with Andrade & Angel Garza, Seth Rollins continued his feud with the Mysterio family, and the Hurt Business kept up its never-ending battle with Apollo Crews, Ricochet & Cedric Alexander.

Throw in another Riott Squad/IIconics match and setting up a Drew McIntyre/Randy Orton rematch and you would be excused if you didn’t experience déjà vu every now and again watching Raw.

Oh, and RETRIBUTION showed up again, wreaked havoc aimlessly, and left.

Raw continued its hamster-on-a-wheel feeling Monday night, though there were some decent moments: Aleister Black and Kevin Owens are getting a program; six-time women’s champ Mickie James is taking aim at Asuka; and Keith Lee didn’t get jobbed out and beat another former world champion Monday night.

However, we also have the wacky WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, the aimless chaos of RETRIBUTION, and a never-ending series of feuds that just keep puttering along. Maybe someday, we’ll resolve a couple of them.

With that said, let’s get to it…
