7 Reasons Braun Strowman Shouldn’t Become WWE Universal Champ At No Mercy 2017
Put that belt down, big man. You don't need it just yet...
In an era where men like Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Bálor, and Kevin Owens are lauded for being atypical 'WWE Superstars', one giant stands proudly as an example of how sheer physical size and simple booking draws attention. Braun Strowman is that stereotypical monster fans have long imagined Vince McMahon to be infatuated with.
Think about how straightforward Strowman's booking has been over the past year. Since debuting as a singles star post-Draft, he has mauled jobbers, tipped over ambulances, destroyed the ring more than once and even thrown Brock Lesnar around like a child. Strowman is bad-ass.

Settle down: we're not claiming Braun shouldn't become champ full stop. No, he deserves to hold the title someday, but a B-level pay-per-view win right before casual fan interest strikes up again at the Royal Rumble isn't the time to do it.
Are we mad? Possibly, but Strowman and WWE have time on their side...
