If you subscribe to the WWE Network, then you€™ve likely realized that one of the best parts of the service €“ besides being able to watch December to Dismember as many times as you can stomach €“ is NXT. The developmental territory is quickly becoming not just a proving ground for young up-and-coming talent, but also a seriously viable alternative for wrestling fans who tire of too much €œsports entertainment€ and not enough competition. Sure, there€™s a fair share of comedy and character development, but fans also get a briskly paced program with some of the superstars of tomorrow giving it their all as they work their way up to the majors. During Thursday€™s two-hour €œspecial event€ NXT Takeover: Fatal 4-Way, fans were treated to a PPV-quality event that delivered both in the ring and in storylines. It wasn€™t the blowaway show that the first two events were, but it€™s now the third straight solid effort, which reinforces that NXT alone might be enough to justify the monthly $9.99 cost of the Network. At the very least, Fatal 4-Way gave fans their money€™s worth. So, let€™s take a look at some of the top reasons why NXT€™s latest special event gave viewers enough bang for their buck.
