Not only was the indy veteran signed by the company, but he was given a big push in NXT upon his arrival, quickly capturing the title and moving up to the main roster to defeat John Cena is his first match. It was an incredible rush. While his push quickly cooled after the Cena feud ran its course, he’s been positioned as one of the biggest players in WWE over the past few months.

While it’s gratifying to see, it’s not quite enough. Right now, Owens should have the company built around him; more so than anyone else.
