7 Times WWE Stars Were Dragged To Hell

What happens when a star gets pulled under the ring anyway?

The business of professional wrestling can be pretty damn ridiculous at times. We all know that, yet there are things that happen that make us scratch our head and wonder why a wrestling company did what they did and, importantly, why we keep watching. Part of the appeal of pro wrestling is that nothing is really off limits or considered too silly. Pretty much anything goes. That holds true for those moments in wrestling where somebody emerges from under the ring by ripping through the mat and then dragging somebody underneath with them. It was an idea that WWE started doing in the mid-1990s with The Undertaker. His storyline brother Kane also has a few moments where he emerged from beneath, too. Apparently they're the only WWE stars with the supernatural powers to do that kind of thing... If you look at it from a logical standpoint, there's no reason anybody should care if somebody is under the ring because it's only three feet of space where the floor is. However, with the way WWE (and other companies) have presented it, it's as if there really is some place down there where the victim is going to get tortured. This article takes a look at those incidents where somebody got dragged to 'hell', which is the WWE term for pulling somebody under the ring. There are actually a lot more moments where people entered by coming from under the ring, but in this case we're only looking at the ones where they tried to bring somebody down with them.
