7 Times WWE Stars Were Dragged To Hell

7. Abyss Gets His Hands On Samoa Joe At TNA Lockdown 2014

The Abyss character is TNA's version of Undertaker or Kane in that he appears to have some kind of supernatural powers. He wrestles in a mask and is a deranged guy that had to deal with all kinds of (kayfabe) mental problems in his career. He turned face/heel a lot and loved using weapons whenever he could. During the March 9, 2014 Lockdown PPV, World Champion Magnus faced off with Samoa Joe. Since Magnus was a cheap heel champion that needed help to win a lot of the time, Abyss unsurprisingly showed up to offer some assistance. With Joe applying the rear naked choke in the ring, Magnus looked like he was going to tap out. Instead, Abyss emerged from under the ring with his hand bursting through the canvas. He dragged Joe underneath the ring. Keep in mind that this was a World Title match inside of a steel cage. They were under the ring for about two minutes when Joe emerged to fight again. Abyss ended up crawling into the ring and attacking Joe with his spiked bat, 'Janice'. The match ended with Magnus retaining the World Title thanks to Abyss' timely interference.
