Let's all admit something together: If somebody had suggested last year that The Rock would go full-blown heel and join The Bloodline in 2024, everyone would've collectively laughed them out of the room. WWE fans wouldn't boo beloved Hollywood heart throb Dwayne Johnson, would they?!

They bloody would, you know.

It really doesn't matter if this was WWE's original plan either, because it's working out well for everyone involved. Roman Reigns has managed to prolong his Bloodline majesty, Cody Rhodes has his WrestleMania 40 rematch after all, and Rocky is tearing through everyone before him with some of the best promo chops ever.

This week's SmackDown had two goals in mind. One, firm up twin Elimination Chamber match lineups for Australia. Two, give The Rock a microphone and let him scorch the show by leading the way with some terrific heel banter.

Friday's episode was a good 'un. In fact, the only negative came in the form of a story that's painfully dull and raising questions about what so-called friends do Saturday-Thursday. Are they eh...mates or not? Someone provide answers!
