That one line on commentary from Michael Cole almost earned WWE's Elimination Chamber 2023 pay-per-view a third 'Down'. It was a senseless moment from the lead play-by-play man. What did he mean Sami Zayn had "nothing to be disappointed about"? He'd just lost the chance to punch his ticket to WrestleMania and tear down Roman Reigns.

Thankfully, this year's Chamber show was better than that announcing brain fart. The night felt like a one match card going in, but both titular gimmick bouts delivered way more than anyone had any right to reasonably expect they would, and WWE took the opportunity to set up at least one major 'Mania grudge match.

Sami's quest to become Undisputed Champ was the main course. His genius underdog story was ably backed by everyone from Roman and The Usos to Paul Heyman and Kevin Owens. Meanwhile, a hot Montreal live crowd devoured every second like they were having the time of their lives.

Here's all the good and bad from a memorable pitstop en route to April's surely-stunning 'Mania weekender.
