7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2023

Downs...

2. Not Sure What To Think

Sorry, but Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley has to get a 'Down' for the finish alone.

Both guys went at one another like monsters battling it out for supremacy, and they didn't waste time with headlocks, chain wrestling or anything of the sort. Instead, Brock hits lots of F5s, Lashley hit lots of spears, and his Hurt Lock caused Lesnar to kick Bob in the balls for the disqualification.

It was better for being on the shorter side, but...the finish was questionable. This was a revived feud running on fumes before Elimination Chamber, and now WWE will probably try to squeeze yet another match out of it at WrestleMania 39. Or, will they? Bray Wyatt is looming in the background and challenged the winner.

Technically, that'd be Lashley, but Brock is a more likely opponent. WWE painted themselves into a corner a bit here, and it's difficult to see another brawl (even one backed by a gimmick) carrying much water on either night in April. The sudden Wyatt inclusion feels kinda clumsy now too.
