7 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 9)

Hard-hitting main events and a Demon-esque light show on WWE NXT 2.0 this week...

Another week, another unexpectedly soul-crushing list of names makes its way onto the Internet as a whopping 18 talents were cut from from Vince McMahon's empire on November 4.

Among the shocking collection of performers given their marching orders were an embarrassing amount of NXT talents of the past and present, with former NXT Champions Karrion Kross and Keith Lee just two of the freakishly gifted folks let go due to "budget cuts". Proving that there was clearly no future for them in this new multi-coloured world, the likes of Ember Moon, Oney Lorcan (or Lorkan if your name is Johnny Ace), Franky Monet, Trey Baxter, Jess Kamea, Zayda Ramier were all unceremoniously culled too. And the show will no doubt be a less vibrant and exciting one without them.

But, as always is the case in this ever-burning machine, NXT 2.0 ploughed on, throwing countless other green acts at the wall in the hope a few will cling on for dear life. If rumours of new 60-day trial contracts are to be believed, don't expect this to be the last wholesale upheaval to massacre Tuesday nights in the coming months.

It wasn't all doom and gloom in developmental this week, however, as two freakishly talented vanilla midgets stole the damn show in the main event and a future seat at The Tribal Chief's table once again showcased the good that can be found in a the baddest of times...
