7 WWE WrestleMania Endings That Were Botched

WrestleMania is the be-all-and-end-all of WWE's calendar year.

The event has been hyped up so much since its 1985 birth that the show almost sells itself in 2020. It's the peak of programming during each 12 month cycle, has become a lucrative brand all on its own and is by far the most important money spinner on the schedule (modern-day Saudi Arabian specials be damned). It's also been home to some spectacular screw-ups over the years.

This has to be embarrassing for WWE whenever such errors happen. They want 'Mania to be that perfect event, and the kind that goes off without a hitch. It's the "greatest sports entertainment extravaganza of all time", damn it, and each one must be presented as 10x bigger, more popular and more financially successful than the last. Maybe that means each botch must be bigger than the last too?
