I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Christian was in a ladder match during the TLC PPV in 2009, and had suffered a legit cut above his eye, what's known as "hardway" bleeding. Suddenly, a team of DRs rushed him in order to put a stop to it. The crowd showered them with boos as they held up the match, and I sat a gasp. "Really?" I said to myself. They're stopping a wrestling match because of some blood? A WRESTLING MATCH? Sure enough, despite the absurdity of it, the PG Era was officially here, and blood was now a thing of the past. McMahon is so against it these days that people could lose their jobs. Some don't mind, but I'm part of the group that believes blood can escalate the drama & story of the match immensely, and that there have been a few that have suffered due to lack of it.
