Survivor Series 2016 was an unbalanced pay-per-view that provided plenty of exciting action, and ended with one of the year's most shocking moments. The nature of Goldberg's 85-second victory over Brock Lesnar was completely unthinkable heading into the event, and whether you loved or hated it, it sent WWE into last night's Raw with a huge talking point.

Goldberg's victory threw the pitch, but could Raw hit the home run? Almost. Last night's show wasn't the most exciting three hours of television you'll ever watch, but it landed well above Raw's lowly New Era standards. WWE took the bulk of Raw's post-Survivor Series stories, tied them up, and set their participants towards December 18th's Roadblock with a strong first show.

Tempers flared following the men's 5-on-5 loss to their SmackDown counterparts and Sami Zayn's inability to bring the Intercontinental Championship to Raw. Alliances were splintered, the Universal Championship was defended, and another Raw Women's Championship match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks was booked for next week.

For all their recent troubles, WWE did a good job of shaking-off Raw's recent stagnation and building for the future, but the show was far from flawless, and Raw's high quality moments were tempered by a handful of baffling moves.

How did it all come together? Let's take a look...
