WWE.comThe WWE Network is awesome for any wrestling fan that wants to take a trip down memory lane. When WWE bought World Championship Wrestling in 2001, one of the best assets that came with it was the WCW tape library. It gave WWE full access to all the WCW programming dating back to the early 1980s when they were known as the National Wrestling Alliance and then in 1991 when they officially become WCW. There are hundreds of hours of WCW footage on WWE Network that goes right up until the company's end in March of 2001. If you're a fan that's in your early 20s or younger or somebody that just didn't watch WCW, maybe you don't know what pay-per-views (PPVs) to watch. That's understandable. There were a lot of bad shows and you don't want to watch something that is a waste of your time. It's time to look back at some of the best WCW PPVs ever that will be a helpful guide for WCW newbies as well as those fans that may forget what shows were actually good. Back in February, I wrote about the top 20 WWE PPVs. Now it's time to look at a WCW list as we focus on the top eight PPVs, which will include some prior to 1991 when they officially became WCW.
