'The Man' comes face to face with 'The Voice Of The Voiceless' on WWE's best ever Backstage.
Backstage is the supplemental show to tell you what's been going on in WWE lately. But genuinely, what's been going on in WWE lately?! Raw's been great for a while, SmackDown was finally decent last week and NXT remains the best wrestling show on television. These are strange and satisfying times, and CM Punk was back this week to add his typical spice to proceedings on the sister show.
WWE's decision to leave him out of the marketing materials for the show on SmackDown and Raw was intriguing to say the least. Perhaps the constant repetition from 'The Voice Of The Voiceless' about him working for Fox rather than them hasn't gone down well? Or, in line with how most regular viewers have felt so far, the company simply couldn't keep up with his jagged Backstage schedule.
Either way, he was back just in time for the Royal Rumble, as was Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch. Pleasingly, they had more than just this weekend's supercard to discuss, too...
