An Update On Terry Funk's Health
The latest on the wrestling legend following his move into an assisted living facility.
As claimed by Don Muraco yesterday, then confirmed by PWInsider's Mike Johnson, pro wrestling icon Terry Funk has moved into an assisted living facility as he is living with dementia.
A post on Funk's official Twitter account (which is managed by a third party) provided an update on the 77-year-old's condition shortly after this, confirming that Terry is going through residential care for issues affecting his mind and body:-
Yes, Mr. Funk is currently receiving residential care for his multiple health issues, which do affect his mind as well as the rest of his body. As you can imagine, some days are better than others. He & his family appreciate all of your kind words!

News of Funk's condition hit a lot of people very, very hard yesterday - and for good reason. One of the most influential, versatile, and believable wrestlers of all time, Funk forged a career spanning more than 50 years, bringing legendary runs in the North American territories, Japan, ECW, and beyond.
Debuting back in 1965, he wrestled as recently as September 2017. His longevity is as incredible as his adaptability and toughness.
We at WhatCulture wish Terry, his family, and friends all the best in his battles.
