Apollo Crews tasted his latest WWE defeat on this week's SmackDown, falling to rival Andrade in an entertaining King of the Ring first-round match, seemingly losing their undercard feud in the process.

While the storyline has resulted in increased TV team for the oft-neglected former Titus Worldwide man, he remains on the periphery and his fans aren't the only ones disappointed with how his main roster career is going.

Crews spoke to The Wrap lately, stating that he "wanted to come in here and shock the world," but that he thought he "would have done much more at this moment" in his run.

He hasn't lost hope, though, saying "I'm still young - I'm about to be 32 in a couple of days - and there's still a lot of time. I'm still very patient and understanding in how the process works. I trust the process."

Crews has accomplished little since being moved from NXT to the main roster in 2016. While occasionally featured on the undercard, he has never enjoyed a sustained push - for a number of reasons. Regardless, he's a talented athlete who clearly values himself more than his current card position.
