That might betray the title somewhat, but f*ck it: it feels official enough to your writer at this point. The last 30 minutes of this week's AEW Dynamite will reinforce that feeling.
The closing fire of last night's show can be traced back to All Out. Kenny Omega, seething at the loss of his AEW World Tag Team Title, stormed out of Daily's Place talking in conspiratorial tones with the Young Bucks, who were as mystified as the audience. Everything soon became clear, after the details were drip-fed in plain sight; in a bid to become 'The New Japan Kenny Omega', the Cleaner charted a backwards and literal path. He masterminded a plot with Don Callis to remove the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley and to keep it, he enlisted the help of his old Bullet Club stablemates the Good Brothers. He couldn't rely on the Bucks; in a parallel development of the sort at which AEW excels to build an intimately connected universe, after some introspection of their own, they refused to revert back to their old heel ways ahead of Full Gear.
