Kofi Kingston recently spoke to ABC6 on a number of topics, including WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns' recent heel turn and alignment with Paul Heyman, hinting at a feud with 'The Big Dog' once he has returned to WWE programming.

"He was a guy who had all the tools," Kingston said of reigns. "He's in movies, he's 'The Big Dog,' and the top dog in the yard... why do you need this parasite, Paul Heyman? Why do you need him to further yourself."

Kingston added that Roman was "already there" (the top of the card) without his new advisor. "I'm going to talk to him when I get there and try to figure out what's going on, because of all the people in the world, why Paul Heyman? I don't understand it. He didn't need to go down that route."

Kofi is currently off television after reportedly suffering an undisclosed injury in late July. It was reported at the time that he would miss approximately six weeks as part of his recovery, so his SmackDown return should be imminent.

Kingston's stablemate, Big E, has been the subject of a renewed singles push with The New Day temporarily shelved, so it'd be interesting to see Kofi, not E, placed in a Universal Title program.
