Vince McMahon's idiosyncrasies have become stuff of legend in pro wrestling circles over the years.

The WWE boss reportedly dislikes sneezing, for example, and Bruce Prichard has told numerous stories about McMahon's reactions to some of the foods he brings into the office ("You eat with your hands?!"). Now, Kurt Angle has opened up on another Vince special that some fans will get a pop out of.

Angle told listeners tuning into his podcast that an unnamed wrestler was suspended by McMahon for replying, "You're welcome" when he praised their match behind the curtain. According to Kurt, the proper/respectful response is to say "thank you".

Yes, that's it.

Outside the biz, as Angle pointed out, people saying "you're welcome" when somebody thanks them is normal behaviour. Not so in wrasslin' or WWE - Vince suspended the mystery grappler for a full month all because they responded politely to him saying, "Hey, thank you for the match tonight" backstage.

This is likely very strange to non-wrestling fans. The industry is grounded in several quirky traditions though, including this one and making sure to shake everybody's hands upon arrival at the building.
