Major AEW Star Now Cleared To Return From Injury
This major AEW favourite has been out of action since the end of last year.
Having been out of action since AEW Worlds End due to injury, Rush has confirmed he's now been cleared to return to the ring.
At Worlds End, Rush teamed with Jay White, Brody King, and Jay Lethal in a losing effort against Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Mark Briscoe. It wasn't in that match where Rush suffered his injury, though.
Shortly after that eight-man tag, the La Faccion Ingobernable favourite revealed he'd actually torn his hamstring in the second match of the Continental Classic at the end of November. Not only did Rush continue with that contest - against Briscoe - but he worked through the injury for his remaining Continental Classic outings against Jon Moxley, Jay Lethal, and Swerve Strickland.
Taking to X, Rush announced he's now been cleared for an in-ring return:

Prior to his injury absence, Rush had taken to social media to call out the Blackpool Combat Club, Mogul Embassy, and Bullet Club Gold for "the beginning of a war".
Whether rivalries with any of those factions are picked up on remains to be seen, and we now of course have the presence of CMLL in AEW - with Rush having spent ten years in CMLL and making himself one of the most must-see wrestlers on the planet.
