WWE's Stephanie McMahon is set to alight in Cincinnati's U.S. Bank Arena this Monday for what the company are trumpeting as an 'historic announcement', with current rumours pointing towards the reveal of a female-exclusive pay-per-view this autumn.
That news may come with a few extra bells and whistles. According to custom wrestling belt manufacturer @BeltFanDan, Stephanie McMahon is also set to unveil brand new women's tag team titles during her proclamation for the ages. The strap-shaper noted that they would be similar to the men's versions, albeit cast in white leather and with some female-specific adjustments. Perhaps a butterfly? /snark
Purely for illustrative purposes, @BeltFanDan showed a pair of title from the latest WWE 2K game, which he says offer a 'close representation' of the proposed belts. He also noted that the plan is to defend the championships universally, which is to say on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT:UK.
