Recent WWE Returnee Says He'll "Dethrone" Roman Reigns
Would you like to see this WWE star beat Roman Reigns for his belts or not?
Braun Strowman has pitched that he's the man to "dethrone" current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and bag both belts soon.
The WWE returnee told the Toronto Sun that "it's about time somebody" took the straps from Roman - Reigns has held the Universal Title since August 2020, and won the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar back at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year.
Braun thinks it's "time" someone else was given the chance to carry one or both of those straps, and he's putting himself forward as Roman's successor. Is that likely to happen? No, but it could be a hint that Strowman will be installed as a challenger during Reigns' march between Royal Rumble-WrestleMania 39.
Kevin Owens is also reportedly in the frame for a crack at Roman too. Could Braun come next after KO has his fun at the Rumble? Don't rule it out, because there must be a reason why Strowman is being so vocal about challenging Reigns during interviews with the media.
WWE has a ton of TV time to fill between now and the Rumble too, so perhaps Braun will get his shot before then.
