That Sammy Guevara was not sent home for his role in a reported backstage brawl with Andrade El Idolo at last night's AEW Dynamite show has reportedly "upset" people backstage.

Fightful reported earlier that after spending much of this week beefing on Twitter, Guevara and El Idolo were involved in a backstage altercation that turned physical on Wednesday. Sammy shoved Andrade, who threw a punch. Afterwards, Andrade was pulled from his Career vs. Mask match with Dark Order's 10 set for this Friday's Rampage, while Guevara remained on the show, teaming with Chris Jericho to defeat Daniel Garcia and Bryan Danielson in the Dynamite main event.

Now, DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen reports that people in AEW believe company founder and CEO Tony Khan should have sent Sammy home, as he'd done with Andrade:-

Whether or not further punishment will be doled out to the duo is currently unclear.

Andrade and Guevara's issues seemingly stem from an apparent incident where Sammy claimed El Idolo had worked overly stiff with him, which Andrade called out in an interview. This provoked the lengthy Twitter spat that engulfed many a wrestling fan's feed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
