The backstage harmony AEW had been enjoying in the weeks since the post-All Out brawl screeched to a halt when a war of words between Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara spilled over into a physical altercation Wednesday.

Andrade and Sammy had been engaged in a Twitter spat that saw Guevara fire a veiled jab, only for El Idolo to call him out. It escalated from there, with Guevara telling Andrade to "... go back to WWE like we all know you want to and f*** off." El Idolo replied that he'd seen him Wednesday and tell him everything to his face.

And then Wednesday happened.

Fightful Select reports that a backstage altercation took place between the two before Dynamite, with sources indicating it was a verbal altercation that became physical, with Sammy shoving Andrade and El Idolo throwing a punch - though it's unclear whether he landed the punch.

Andrade was removed from his scheduled Rampage mask versus AEW career match against 10 of the Dark Order, with Tony Khan announcing in its place an AEW World Trios Championship match between Dark Order and Death Triangle.

After the altercation, Andrade posted a pretty straightforward tweet:

Guevara remained at TV and competed in the Dynamite main event, where he and Chris Jericho defeated Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia when Sammy pinned Garcia.
