Report: Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair Still Have "Legitimate Animosity"
The latest on Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch's mutual disdain ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2021.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will wrestle amidst countless stories of backstage heat and a friendship gone sour this Sunday, fighting in a standard brand supremacy exhibition at WWE Survivor Series 2021.
This is in the wake of a 22 October incident that saw Flair go off-script during a planned belt exchange segment, dropping the Raw Women's Championship to the floor, having told management that she felt swapping her strap for Becky's SmackDown title would make her look weak. Afterwards, a reported backstage confrontation apparently led to Flair being asked to leave the building.
Lynch spoke openly on the matter earlier this week, saying that she knew Charlotte was going to try to "purposefully disrespect" her in the segment. Thus, the question of whether or not the beef between them is being amplified to sell Survivor Series persists.
A new report from WrestleVotes notes that while WWE expects complete professionalism from the duo at Survivor Series, there is "legitimate animosity" between the two, with their match finish the subject of much internal debate:-
From what I gather there is still some legitimate animosity between Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair, a feeling of disdain between them both. With that said, WWE is expecting 100% professionalism Sunday in their matchup, however I do know the finish has been greatly debated.

Lynch said during her MMA Hour interview that she was dreading facing Flair, and hoped this match would be the end of the situation. That the duo currently work on opposite main roster brands should help in that regard.
