It may no longer be Rusev Day, but the artist formerly known as Rusev (and now renamed Miro) isn't going away entirely.

After a period of silence on social media in the wake of his release (or his "firing" as he calls it in his own words), the Bulgarian bruiser has reappeared vowing to turn his hand to Twitch as a new career path.

The first step in that journey saw him streaming to Instagram to show off his new PC set-up and lay out his plans:

"This is the deal. I got fired, right? Professional wrestling, blah, blah. Who cares? Exciting news is going on. We’re going to start a Twitch channel pretty soon because I want to show how good I am at video games. Why not start a channel where people can see me play video games all day? Because that’s pretty much all I do."

Given his charisma, watching him gaming should be a blast. And if it means we get to see some actual insight into his actual relationship with Lana - without the involvement of any other wrestlers shoe-horned in for "ratings" - then that's even better.

He didn't really talk a great deal about his WWE exit, but he did go on to say that he will address it when the time is right and teased a future appearance on Ryback's podcast. So hopefully that's when the time is right.

If you're worried he's turned his back on wrestling for good - especially given the change in his Twitter bio (which now reads "from pro wrestler to pro-Twitcher...") there may be hope in the fact that the bio ends, mysteriously, with "...and something else." Could that mean he's still got plans? Or is he going to turn his attention to something like acting?

Time will tell.

The star also announced his name change (and Instagram change) with a slightly cryptic tweet...
