Seth Rollins' big SummerSlam match might be off, but his online rant drew the attention of WWE's new head of creative Wednesday night.

As previously reported, the planned match between Rollins and Riddle for this Saturday's PLE has been scrubbed because the Original Bro is not medically cleared -- in storyline. This has left Rollins without a match for the biggest show of the summer, and Seth took to Twitter to vent:

For anyone who purchased a ticket to #SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.

A few hours later, Triple H responded on the app:

The head of creative's response could be a simple show of solidarity with one of "his guys," but it also could be an in-storyline answer as well hinting about more to come. Speculation already was ramping up about Rollins drawing a surprise opponent, ala WrestleMania 38, to fill the vacancy.

One of the first names that popped up was current free agent Johnny Gargano, who was last seen on NXT late last year, when his contract expired. Johnny Wrestling has been home with his wife Candice LeRae and their newborn son. Fans immediately began fantasy booking Gargano returning to the fold with Triple H in charge and having a SummerSlam classic with Rollins.

Gargano is booked to appear at Starrcast this weekend in Nashville, so he's already planning to be in town. Just saying...
