The build to the Elimination Chamber PPV has taken on a frenzied pace. Each show has closed with a brawl, leaving fans wondering what could possibly happen once these wrestlers are bound by the confines of their respective matches (especially the one confined to a steel chamber). Overshadowing this chaos is the ever-looming WrestleMania XXX sign not just something to point at, but also a reminder. Whatever happens this Sunday night will have a direct impact on each wrestler's role in the Showcase of the Immortals. This is the last milestone on the map before we hit WrestleMania. All the Raws and Smackdowns thereafter will serve to flesh out the events of the next week. If the Royal Rumble was exciting because it marked the beginning of the ride, the Elimination Chamber is exciting because it marks the steep ascent to the top of the roller coaster. All metaphors aside, there's nothing more fun than trying to predict what's going to happen in the months of February and March in WWE. How are they going to hook us? Here's my take on the 10 Biggest Shocks we might see this Sunday.
10. The Usos Will Win The Tag Titles
Jimmy and Jey Uso should be the Tag Team Champions. On paper, they are perfect. They are young and energetic colourful enough to appeal to the kids, but also agile enough to impress the adults. Their Samoan pedigree adds a lot of credibility to their game, not to mention the war paint and entrance chant being super engaging. These guys can GO. They're a real tag team with integrated moves and a natural synergy. They have loads of potential in terms of merchandising and how many years they have left in the tank. Now is the time to put the belts on the Uso brothers, especially considering that the current title-holders are a nostalgia act nearing their shelf life. Let the Usos move on to a better feud for WrestleMania, and let them start building it now. They've got the look and the abilities to be on the marquee. Their win will be a shock because WWE has a habit of forgetting to tend the garden that is the tag division.
