WWE.comThe summer is heating up in WWE as the road to Battleground continues. Raw was pretty average this week after being very eventful a week earlier. This week's Smackdown saw Chris Jericho take on Randy Orton in a very good match. We can also look forward to Monday because the legendary Sting did a tweet that said 07.14.14 on it, which is the date Monday's Raw. We think it will have to do with WWE's next video game although nothing is known at this point. The saddest news item of the week involved the health of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Reports indicate that he's likely going to need a second surgery, this time on his shoulder. His future is very much in doubt. We have no idea when he's going to be back in the ring and if he does return will he be able to take on a full time schedule or will he have to tone it down? All we can do is hope he gets better soon. Looking ahead to Battleground on July 20, WWE has seven matches announced and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins is also expected, so they've got a full lineup in place heading into their only July PPV. While it doesn't feel like a major show comparable to SummerSlam in August, there are plenty of feuds that will set the table for WWE's summer spectacular. Last Saturday I was at a WWE live event and had a great time sitting ringside. Be sure to check it out if you haven't done so already. Here is this week's Q&A based on questions sent to me on Twitter @johnreport on Friday. Thank you for the great questions as always.
