10. Who Got Over As A Star In One Match?

WWE.comWWE.com
From @JacobLewisP: What's the best example of someone getting put over as a star in one night/match?
As soon as I read this one my answer was Ric Flair at the 1992 Royal Rumble. Obviously Flair was already known as a top guy that came in from WCW and was a long time champion for the much of the decade before that, but when you think about that Rumble performance they really did a fantastic job of putting him over. He was the third entrant, it looked like he would be tossed out multiple times and every time he ended up staying in. Then he won the match. It was amazing booking and a tremendous job by Flair. There are other things like Shelton Benjamin getting drafted to Raw in 2004, then beating Triple H clean in his first match and that felt like a big deal. However, he was booked so poorly after that. It made the win irrelevant. A very recent example would be Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 30 too. He went over a top heel like Triple H early in the show and then in the main event beat other top heels Randy Orton and Batista in the main event. That's a pretty significant job of putting somebody over huge. There are many other moments that would qualify for something like this. Good question.
