It's an age old story really. Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl. Girl is injured and ends up in wheelchair. Boy's archenemy kidnaps injured girlfriend and powerbombs her off a 15 foot stage through a stack of tables. Ok, so maybe the story isn't really that feasible outside of a pro wrestling show, but it sure as shooting can be entertaining. This particular instance came from Monday Night Raw, and featured the Dudleyz, who were feuding with Mark Henry, attacking Mae Young. This is right up their alley, as the Dudleyz made their first splash in the business as part of Paul Heyman's Extreme Championship Wrestling. Now, contrary to what the old timers will tell you, "hardcore" wrestling has long been a part of a wrestling show. The weapon, whether used in blatant view of the referee or behind his back, is every bit as important as the drop toe hold as far as building a viable wrestling feud. For this column, I've decided to showcase the wrestlers I think of when I think of certain weapons, but will also include other famous users of that weapon. So without any further delay, I present to you 6 wrestling superstars and the weapons they made famous. PS, these are in no particular order.
