"The Animal" Batista has returned with a gigantic bang, winning the Royal Rumble 2014 and perhaps being the least popular returning high-profile face since... ever. He's earned his spot in the main event of WrestleMania 30 and usually things change he will be taking on his old partner Randy Orton in the World Title match. The dominant superstar has had many marquee matches and has grabbed spotlight once again. Debuting in 2002 as the muscle for "Reverend D-Von", Batista shed this gimmick and soon after evolved (see what I did there...) into the explosive performer we know today. Winning numerous WWE titles, World titles and tag team titles - he's had a career that's likely the envy of many wrestlers, as a main event draw. Whether you like Batista or not, it's unquestionable that despite his typical WWE muscle-bound look, that he exudes an intensity and passion all his own. He left in 2010 after a program with John Cena, pursuing MMA bouts, as well as movie roles such as 'The Man with the Iron Fists' and the upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy' from Marvel Studios that's due this coming summer and is a major output for their expanding cinematic universe. Indeed, the marketing opportunity for Batista and the WWE is the whole reason he has come back for a final-run. Let's take a look at the matches that, in my opinion, have seen Batista shine and some that... didn't so much as part of our weekly 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked column...
