WWE Crown Jewel 2019 Returning To Saudi Arabia On Oct 31?
Crown Jewel 2019 goes down a few days earlier than expected.
WWE's return to Saudi Arabia looks set to take place on 31 October, according to PW Insider.
Per the writeup, the event dubbed Crown Jewel 2019 will take place inside Riyadh's King Saud University Stadium, which played host to the previous year's pay-per-view. There's currently no word on whether or not the show will feature another World Cup tournament.
What's interesting about WWE's fourth Saudi Arabian show is that it takes place on a Thursday evening rather than on a Friday or over a weekend. It's also a slight change to original reports suggesting that the pay-per-view would go down on 1 November.
The event will almost certainly feature at least one wacky legends match, though WWE are running out of realistic pairings. Goldberg and The Undertaker remain active in the company, as does Triple H. Talk of 'Taker facing an un-retired Sting has resurfaced in recent months, though we all know how that one goes: Undertaker scoring a symbolic WWE victory over WCW's 'Icon,' because Vince McMahon is still fighting a wrestling war that ended 18 years ago.
Whatever the case, Crown Jewel 2019 will attract boatloads of criticism, so buckle down.
