The applications come following last month's news that in the wake of NXT UK's shuttering, WWE plans on launching a new brand, NXT Europe. WWE Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels commented at the time:-

"Following the success of our live events and talent identification efforts throughout all of Europe, we believe this is the perfect time to expand NXT beyond the UK."

WWE is yet to determine a launch date for NXT Europe.
