Current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jey Uso was arrested in Hidalgo County, Texas for driving while intoxicated (DWI) this Sunday, January 14th.

According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, Uso's car was pulled over at approximately 1am, when the officer in question observed signs of intoxication. A roadside sobriety test was conducted, leading to the conclusion that Jey'd been driving under the influence, and he was then taken into custody.

Uso was released after posting a $500 personal recognisance bond soon the same day, and was present on last night's SmackDown, during which him and brother Jimmy were ambushed by Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. A record of the arrest can be found on the Hidalgo County records website.

F4WOnline.com reached out to WWE yesterday, with the promotion offering the following statement:-

"Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials."

Jimmy Uso was charged with a similar offence in September 2011, when he was arrested near Tampa, Florida. He too was released on a $500 bond, but wasn't suspended by his employers, which appears to be the case with his brother as well. Still, it's probably safe to say the odds of Benjamin and Gable winning the Tag Titles at Royal Rumble 2018 just shortened...
