New AEW signing Lee recently revealed that some in WWE had issues with his "cadence" and voice generally. That's something company Hall Of Famer Booker understands, but he doesn't think it's something that Keith couldn't be coached on.

Book told listeners tuning into his podcast that Lee's "different" promo style isn't necessarily a bad one. In fact, the legend believes that Keith's unique verbal style is actually something wrestling companies should embrace. However, he would like to sit down with Lee and bring out "a little more dirt".

Basically, Booker believes that Keith would benefit from sounding p*ssed off every now and then. He's a big, intimidating dude, but multi-time World Champ and all-round "spinaroonie" machine Book doesn't think that ever really comes across when Lee grabs the microphone.

Explaining, Booker said that he managed to strike up a nice balance between relaxed (as 'King' Booker) and angry (as himself) in his prime. That meant he was adaptable during promo skits and wasn't restricted by one locked-in style. He reckons big Keith should look to do the same.
