WWE's second NXT special, titled Takeover, is officially in the books. The event will likely be considered a huge success by many as most of the matches outperformed expectations. The show featured three title matches, a No. 1 contender match and a singles match featuring Adam Rose and Camacho. The two champions defending their titles walked out still holding the gold, while Charlotte defeated Natalya in the final round of a tournament to crown a new NXT Women's champion. It would be hard for anyone to pick the match of the night with some of the amazing performances we witnessed, but the match that probably surprised most of the viewers was the clinic put on by Charlotte and Natalya in their title bout. Bret Hart and Ric Flair were at ringside, but all eyes were on the women in the ring who were killing it in every possible way. Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn had an extremely entertaining bout that saw Breeze walk away with a future title shot, Adrian Neville retained his NXT title in a competitive match that saw both men match each other move for move and The Ascension defeated El Local and Kalisto in a solid tag match that featured a quick pace and a few greats spots. This slideshow will look back at NXT Takeover and examine a few of the important things we learned during the show.
