WWE Survivor Series 2018: 7 Things WWE Got Right

WWE aren't going to get a whole lot of credit for Survivor Series.

Going in, and especially since Becky Lynch was pulled, pretty much everyone viewed it as a secondary show. It was more important for the promotion to plough through their 'Thanksgiving Tradition' than write anything that'd get in the way of what's coming from January-April, and fans knew it.

These days, Survivors is the least important of the classic 'Big Four' pay-per-views. It's in a weird spot too, coming at the end of the year and at a time when WWE's bigwigs are beginning to ruminate about WrestleMania more than they'd care to admit when there are still four major shows (including this past Sunday) to tackle first.

Somehow, in spite of their own yawn-worthy Raw vs. SmackDown booking, WWE managed to put on a seven-match main card that had several memorable tussles towards the end. The main event, a first-time meeting between Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar, was very much worthwhile, and so was a dynamic Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair brawl, a surprising Cruiser hit and even the traditional men's elimination...
