7. Putting That Cruiserweight Title Match On The Main Card

Hey look, it's the stars of 205 Live on the WWE Network, and they're right there tearing it up on pay-per-view.

In all seriousness, whoever pitched Buddy Murphy vs. Mustafa Ali getting the nod over an unnecessary tag-team elimination match deserves a pat on the back. In 12 minutes, the Cruisers did more to excite the live crowd than anyone involved in that Kickoff match would've done in the same spot with 22.

Murphy continues to impress in 2018, and Ali proved a solid counterpoint to his rise as Cruiserweight Champion. This writer must hold his hands up and say he didn't care a jot about the match going in though; 205 Live is rarely essential viewing outside of a match or two every few weeks, and the show has been buried as a C-level hour for hardcores only.

Now, following the hard work of these guys, this guy might just have to take another look on Wednesday evenings pre-NXT. If the matches have this kind of free-flowing creativity and tempo, then they'd be a nice warm up for that show.
